Mercedes Benz C63 AMG C350

There’s been another leak on the internet today. This time, it’s essentially the entire order guide for the 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-class that has appeared online. It’s very detailed, and—aside from any base prices—gives us basically the whole scoop on the all-new baby Benz.

To begin with, the C-class will be offered in three models: the C300 with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder making 241 horsepower and 229 lb-ft with a seven-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive; the all-wheel-drive C300 4MATIC with the same turbo 2.0-liter engine and seven-speed automatic; and the C400 4MATIC with a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 good for 329 horsepower and 354 lb-ft, paired with a seven-speed automatic.

For the exterior, there are 10 colors; after two blacks, two whites, and four shades of silver/gray, however, there is only room left on the palette for a navy blue and a dark brown. There are six different wheel choices, ranging from 17 to 19 inches, and a variety of designs. This being Mercedes, there’s also a plethora of packages—some old and some new.

The Sport package is standard on the C400 and is a $2500 option on the others. The package includes an AMG body kit, a sport-tuned suspension, 18-inch AMG wheels (19-inchers are available at an extra charge) with high-performance tires, black ash wood trim, a black headliner, sports seats, a flat-bottom sport steering wheel, cross-drilled front-brake discs, aluminum/rubber pedals, AMG floor mats, and a dash trimmed with MB-Tex.

The Luxury package ($650) takes the boulevard. It features a comfort-tuned suspension, 17-inch multi-spoked wheels, a “standing star” hood ornament, a choice of burl walnut or linden wood dash trim, and the MB-Tex dash. The Luxury package is not available on the C400.

The Driver Assistance package ($2800) is brimming with high-tech magic, including Distronic Plus adaptive cruise control with brake and steering assist, blind-spot and lane-keeping assistance, Brake Assist System Plus with pedestrian and cross-traffic protection, and Pre-Safe Plus rear-end collision protection.

The Premium package (standard on the C400, $2700 on the others) includes heated front seats, satellite radio, premium sound, LED lights and keyless start.

There are three packages that are only offered in conjunction with the Premium package:

• Interior package, $2300: features leather upholstery, ventilated seats, ambient lighting, front-passenger seat with memory, and illuminated doorsills.

• Lighting package, $750: consists of high-intensity-discharge headlamps with active curve illumination and adaptive high-beam assist.

• Multimedia package, $2690: includes navigation with voice command, rearview camera, Sirius XM traffic and weather, and an 8.4-inch hi-res color screen.

A couple of new packages have migrated right off the S-class order guide: the Airmatic adjustable-suspension package ($1190) and the Air Balance package ($350) that ionizes, filters, and adds fragrance to the cabin air.

There are many individual options as well—some included in packages and some as stand-alone—such as a Panorama sunroof ($1480), head-up display ($990), active parking assist ($970), a rearview camera ($460), and a power trunk closer ($560). The menu goes on; there is also a special-order list that includes rear side airbags ($420), an electric sunblind for the rear window ($440), and manual sunblinds for the rear side windows ($380).
