Kinzinger: Ludicrous For Ted Cruz Not To Endorse Trump During Convention Speech

Appearing on CNN Thursday Illinois RINO congressman Adam Kinzinger said that it was ludicrous for Ted Cruz not to endorse Donald Trump during his convention speech Wednesday night simply because he was invited to speak at the convention.

Kinzinger said:

If your invited to speak at the convention though you have to endorse him. I mean this is Donald Trump’s convention. He won the primary fair and square and I thin this was, I was blown away. I think it was ludicrous of Ted Cruz to do it and it’s obviously political posturing for whatever comes next.


That’s kinda rich coming from Donald Trump’s biggest critics, and someone who is still holding out endorsing Trump himself.

Hell Kinzinger spent the rest of the interview pointing out the fallacy of Trump’s comments to the New York Times that he wouldn’t help our NATO allies if they are attacked by Russia and his backing of the purge taking place in Turkey this past week following the failed coup d’etat to oust the Islamo-Fascist Erdogan.

Adam Kinzinger, has never been a fan on conservatives or the Tea Party despite claiming to be both to get elected in 2010, and is constantly aligning with the GOPe and House leadership to oppose the Freedom Caucus, and guys like Sen. Cruz and Sen. Rand Paul when they fight for freedom, liberty, limited government, and try to hold Republicans to their promises, like to repeal and defund Obamacare.

Ted Cruz, is a man of principles, a man of conservative convictions, and he did and said exactly the right things Wednesday.

To call him and his speech ludicrous, is well ludicrous.

Rand Paul In Iowa: Some Republicans Trigger Happy To Get Into Conflict With Russia

Sen. Rand Paul was at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa Tuesday to talk about foreign policy and said that some Republicans, like Sen. Marco Rubio, who are advocating for a no fly zone in Syria are trigger happy to get into a conflict with Russia and that those Republicans scare him.

Republican presidential hopeful Rand Paul, courting college-age voters, said Tuesday in Davenport that he’s alarmed by “trigger happy” rivals who seem eager for a confrontation with Russia.

Paul, a U.S. senator from Kentucky who has long strayed from most of the GOP field on foreign and military policy, said Russia’s increased involvement in the Syrian civil war isn’t welcome. But he dismissed the idea of a no-fly zone over Syria, currently favored by most of the Republican presidential candidates — as well as Democrat Hillary Clinton — as “a recipe for disaster.” And, while answering a question about military spending, he used the word “reckless” in talking about Republican rhetoric about Russia.

“They scare me,” he said.

“We went through 70 years of the Cold War trying not to have a war with Russia, and now we’ve got people so trigger happy that they’re gleefully talking about using force against Russia,” Paul added.

Hillary In Iowa: Threaten To Shoot Down Russian Jets To Get Them To Agree To Syrian No-Fly Zone

Speaking in Davenport, Iowa Tuesday the only 2016 presidential candidate more likely to be heading to prison than to the convention, Hillary Clinton, said that the US and our coalition partners should threaten to shoot down Russian warplanes over Syria conducting bombing runs on behalf of the Assad regime in order to get Russian President Vladimir Putin to agree to a no-fly zone over Syria.

This she calls diplomacy.

Clinton said she is not inclined to support anything that involves American combat troops, but afterward, she said the Russians could be brought along under the right circumstances.

“Yeah, if they thought they were going to be left out and that their planes might get shot down if they continue to do Assad’s work,” Clinton said in an interview with the Quad-City Times after the RiverCenter event. “That’s diplomacy. That’s what you do. You raise the cost, you use the leverage. You force them to look at the alternatives.”

Clinton previously has argued for a more aggressive tack on Syria. Three years ago, she backed training and equipping moderate rebels in Syria, an approach President Barack Obama rejected.

“Right now, other than getting into Turkish airspace, which they probably won’t do again because there are a lot of other targets they can bomb for Assad, you know, what’s the pressure on them?” Clinton asked. “At some point, you’ve got to get the world together to put some pressure and exact some costs on Putin. Otherwise, he will just keep pushing as hard and as far as he can.”

Illinois Rep. Adam Kinzinger is probably glad to hear Clinton and other presidential candidates like Marco Rubio talk favorably about a no-fly zone over Syria, something Kinzinger has wanted for some time.

Friday Sen. Marco Rubio was in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to talk about national security issues, namely Russia, Syria, and ISIS. On the topic of Russia and Vladimir Putin’s desire to rebuild the Soviet Empire, Rubio said that he’d treat Putin as the gangster and thug that he is.

“Under my administration, there will be no pleading for meetings with Vladimir Putin,” Rubio said. “He will be treated as he is — a gangster and a thug.”

Rubio said the U.S. should stop working with Putin as long as he supports Syrian leader Bashar Assad. He called for new sanctions against Russian officials and companies for providing weapons and intelligence to Ukraine.

“He’s using military power to prop up Assad, a vicious dictator, intentionally slaughtering the Syrian people,” Rubio said. “No good can come from Russian involvement in Syria … We are barreling toward a second Cold War and strong American leadership is the only force capable of ensuring peace and security once again.”

On the topic of ISIS Rubio said that he’d like to see a ground force coalition of Sunnis from Egypt, Jordan and elsewhere take the fight to ISIS inside Syria and Iraq.  Rubio also said that he’d like to see more US special forces raids on senior ISIS leadership and then boast about the killing or capture of those leaders on social media to drive down ISIS’ ability to recruit and raise funds.

Rubio also came out against President Obama’s plan to bring up to 10,000 Syrian refugees into the country because background check’s on those individuals wouldn’t keep out ISIS fighters from also being brought into the country with them.  Instead Rubio would like to see a safe zone established inside Syria where the refugees could go and be protected by that Sunni coalition and a US enforced no-fly zone.

Illinois congressman Adam Kinzinger did some rounds on Fox News Tuesday night with Greta, and Wednesday with Bill Hemmer where he talked about the estimated 250 Americans who have likely joined ISIS, Russia’s airstrikes inside Syria and more.

On Greta Kinzinger said:

(Obama) doesn’t want to extend a war that he’s promised to end..a political promise is more important than defeat this cancer(ISIS).

They(ISIS) are going around shooting up villages, doing it for so called religion and its enough to sell them on it(radical Islam) on this. when they get radicalized that’s when they say hey I want to be a marytr. We have to stop them before that. and how do you stop them? we show that we are dealing huge blows not just in numbers but in territory to ISIS.

With Hemmer Kinzinger added.

There is no God in the world no matter what religion you are that would support the brutality from what you are seeing from (ISIS).

Kinzinger added this on the House floor Wednesday:

It appears that we have stepped back in time with the news that Russia has begun airstrikes on behalf of the Assad regime. This troublesome move along with the ongoing humanitarian disaster is the worst case in an already bad scenario. President Obama’s failure to fight ISIS directly and his failure to enforce the red line he drew have created a political and military vacuum that Russia is filling. With the knowledge that the Russians are targeting the Free Syrian Army rather than ISIS, there is no doubt that Putin’s ultimate goal is to aid the brutal Assad regime and establish a beachhead in the Middle East. 

In the absence of American leadership, chaos, violence, death, and poverty follow suit. What we’re seeing in the Middle East is a lack of American leadership and a situation spun out of control. I worry about what Russia’s new engagement will bring. These are dangerous times and it’s imperative that we demand a clear strategy from our President that will prevent this catastrophic situation from causing unnecessary civilian and U.S. military casualties.

Independence Day 2015 – “…we mutually pledge to each other…”

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of being accompanied by a single mother during a photoshoot in Chicago. I’d noticed her opinions before and was very pleased that she seemed to be an educated and well informed person. It was at that time I had an epiphany between the struggling working class trying to make ends meet and the politicians I’ve helped.

There are two significant dates regarding the Declaration of Independence. The first is the usual and customary date of July 4th which is celebrated with parades and festivities consisting of people and politicians who call themselves Americans and who lack courage and would rather compromise and sell your soul for their welfare in the “spirit of getting things done”. It has become easier for some to cast ballots for phony Founder wannabes who promises to reform & restore their Liberties only to have them bartered and sold far away at market prices.

The second and probably the most important date is July 2, 1776 in which John Adams wrote in a July 3, 1776 letter to his wife Abigail Adams, “The second day of July, 1776, will be the most memorable epocha in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated, as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward, forevermore.” Not so long ago I sat by the river and watched an American Bald eagle fly overhead and I thought of the politicians who come to you asking you for your support only to have them give you an excuse as to why they can’t endorse you or your candidate when you need it. Recently I’ve had people find me and thank me for the letters I write. My heart pours out for the young and old who tell their friends and families about my letters without any fears of retribution, reputation, or fear of losing everything. The introduction to the Declaration reads “When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another…” I believe the time is coming for me to break away from the politicians who lack the courage to fight. The last line reads “And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.”  Trust me I will never confuse that honorable single working mother with the slick politician. On this Independence Day I say, “Those who have little and are willing to risk all in the cause of freedom & right, are mine and belong to me – let freedom ring.”

Politicians Are Slaves Too

I’ve reflected on our nation’s riots and the arrogant politicians, taxes and laws that may have caused them. I object to the riots because of all of the destruction and looting to personal and business property owners along with the innocent bystanders rather than properly attacking the real enemy. On the other hand our liberty did not come from Colonists sipping tea and munching on crumpets with the English. “We are a nation of laws and the law is the law. We must be obedient to the law and if you don’t like the law then vote for those who’ll change the law or run for public office and change it yourself”, arrogant politicians, courts and police will tell you along with some uninformed citizens. John Adams once said “Facts are stubborn things…” and it is time that we look at some facts and face reality. Ruling parties and their parrots will tell you that America has become a better place since they took office and all about America’s freedom, however, one June 2014 source ranks America as the no. 2 country in the world with the highest incarceration rate with an estimated 707 persons incarcerated for every 100,000 hence America is not as “free” as one might think. I won’t rehash unjust laws and taxes, but I do believe that the balance of power is tipping towards those who were unjustly made “criminals”. In his Spirit of the Law, Montesquieu wrote, “…every tyrant is at the same time a slave…” Freemen and freed convicts can travel, go about and live anywhere whether it’s gated community or the ghetto where politicians dare not go. There are now two powerful forces, those holding office and those who have served their time in prison. Montesquieu observed and wrote “The republic constantly demanded some new tax of me; and I could not decline paying. Since I have grown poor, I have acquired authority; nobody threatens me; I rather threaten others. I can go or stay where I please. The rich already rise from their seats and give me the way. I am a king, I was before a slave: I paid taxes to the republic, now it maintains me: I am no longer afraid of losing: but I hope to acquire.” President Kennedy warned during the Civil Rights movement “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.” Lawmakers need to return to representative status, represent their people & their liberties and stop making revenue generating laws that make criminals out of innocent people. Look at our neighborhoods. If crime has increased then you might be enslaved by former slaves who no longer have fear or those who’ve had loved ones unjustly incarcerated. I also detest those who support “social justice”. Study the social justice politicians and in many cases you’ll find they’ve been the ones who raised taxes and passed unjust laws believing they were doing God’s work when they were really doing the devils.

Illinois Budget, Rauner, Madigan & The Illinois Constitution

I’ve listened to the baseless charges leveled against Gov. Rauner e.g. that he’s going against Attorney General Lisa Madigan’s counsel, that he needs to follow the Illinois constitution, and that the Illinois supreme court has ruled that Rauner must follow the Illinois constitution, pay and fund those pension costs even if it means jacking up taxes.

Patrick Henry once asked “Who authorized them to speak the language of We the people?” and I have never authorized any court to use my name in “The People of Illinois vs. Bruce Rauner” I find it humorous that anyone thinks we have a righteous and upright “Attorney General”. Who was the self-centered politician who wanted to violate the VI Amendment and make gun owners private information public? Who had to be ordered by court order to produce a carry conceal law? Who used delay tactics to fight these court orders? The answer: Lisa Madigan. The Illinois constitution is the law? Article VIII – Section 2, Finance reads “Proposed expenditures shall not exceed funds estimated to be available for the fiscal year as shown in the budget.” So why have Michael Madigan and Springfield Democrats proposed a budget that is $3 billion over the forecasted budget? Further, 810 ILCS 5/3-806, Ch. 26, par. 3-806 makes it a crime to write checks with insufficient funds and reads in part, “Any person who issues a check or other draft that is not honored upon presentment because the drawer does not have an account with the drawee, or because the drawer does not have sufficient funds in his account…” so where is the “Attorney General”? Where is the “Illinois Supreme Court”? And what about “the law”?

Never heard of these laws? Montesquieu wrote in the Spirit of the Law, “If there is some unfortunate honest man among the people, hints Cardinal Richelieu in his Political Testament, a monarch should be careful not to employ him” but not all have been silent. IL State Rep Jeanne Ives, 42nd District, recently said “I find it incredibly irresponsible that the House Democrats have brought forward a FY16 budget they know is unbalanced. They are promoting their spending plan and they have offered absolutely no information as to how they will fund it. – The majority party has a history of wreckless spending with no regard for how it impacts the citizens whose taxes fund our government. They have not earned the right to even one more cent of the public’s money.” Thomas Jefferson once said “In questions of power then, let no more be heard of [confidence in man] but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution.” Ives understands what a real Constitution is. The Founders were very clear on government’s purpose. The Declaration of Independence reads “That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,” Illinoisans can no longer afford to be legally robbed by those who are supposed to protect their rights.

Chuck Todd: Clinton Cash Bombshell “Circumstantial Scandal”

Speaking Friday with NBC affiliate KWQC NBC Meet The Press moderator Chuck Todd said that the revelations based on the book by Peter Schweizer Clinton Cash, that Bill and Hillary Clinton through their foundation were paid millions of dollars by businesses and governments doing business with the State Department at the time Hillary was Secretary of State is a “Circumstantial scandal”.

One deal involved the Clinton’s getting over $3 million from interest connected to Russian strongman Vladimir Putin as they eventually acquired complete ownership of a uranium mine company responsible for one fifth of all US uranium deposits.  Uranium is used to make nuclear weapons.

Todd said that the information and allegations in the forthcoming book have created a “circumstantial scandal” that the Clinton’s can weather and that “They’ll survive it”.

In addition to the uranium deal with the Russians the Clinton’s also have to contend with several other cases of the Foundation or former President Bill Clinton being given large sums of money by interest that had contracts and other business pending before the State Department.

There also happens to be those little matters of Hillary’s private email servers and its deleted emails and that whole Benghazi thing.

Todd also said that if another Democrat gets into the race “Now there’s trouble for (Hillary) Clinton” but Todd added there is “No evidence of that yet.”

Clear Todd has a low opinion of the prospects of the radical left succeeding in their Draft Elizabeth Warren effort, or of the ambition of the “Rain Taxer” Martin O’Malley, or that socialist Bernie Sanders might run, and have all Democrats forgotten Joe Biden’s still alive?

On the topic of this weekends Faith & Freedom event in Iowa Todd said that former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush decided not to attend because he “Doesn’t want to get booed”.  Todd mentioned that he knows Jeb and believes him to be a “social conservative” however, because of Jeb’s support of amnesty for illegal immigrants and Common Core his campaign wanted to avoid any potential embarrassing moments in this early state of the 2016 presidential campaign.

I have heard and read about the low voter turnout in this election. The problem with politics is that government consists of people and people are imperfect e.g. the Aaron Shock spending scandals, Hillary Clinton lying that she came under fire in Bosnia, her false immigrant ancestor claim, etc. George Washington warned “However combinations or associations of the above description may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely, in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which [cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men] will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion.”

Among the first reasons that I see people no longer taking interests in politics is the parties. The Democrat Party is no longer the party of frugal spending and frugal Democrats. It has been hijacked by socialists, Marxists and communists who insist that the government has a right to the people’s earnings by majority vote and mob rule for the good of the state. The moderate tax and spend Democrats having no place to go have filtered themselves into the Republican Party and the real Republicans have been labeled as either conservatives or extremists. Don’t let anyone fool you, there is no such thing as a conservative republican. You either believe and govern according to the rules of republicanism or you don’t, man is either free or he isn’t.

The second item I see and have experienced is a demand for loyalty by both parties regardless of where they stand on the issues. Party loyalists would demand that you support Stalin if there were an R by his name and Mao if there were a D by his name. The only thing missing now are clicking heels proclaiming “Sieg Heil!” to party leaders. Memo to party leaders, many Americans can think for themselves thank you very much.

The third reason people hate politics is money, whether its pieces of eight or thirty pieces of silver, unless you have money the parties could care less who you are and ask your party leaders if they or anyone in their party has ever has ever donated to the other party. Election laws are written in convoluted ways to protect those who wrote them to protect themselves. The 2015 Illinois Candidates Election guide consists of 94 pages of mishmash reminiscent of soviet elections.

To this year’s bewildered politicians, there are local elections, primary elections, mid-term elections and the national general elections but, there is one election that has been overlooked by Michael Madigan, Jim Durkin, Christine Radogno & John Cullerton. In 2014 95,000 Illinoisans ignored your party leaders, elections laws and gave a no confidence vote by voting with their feet and fleeing Illinois the way Germans once fled East Berlin. I have only one edict/request for those remaining in Illinois. Would the last one to leave Illinois please turn out the lights?
