On the other hand if we fire those Democrats and put the FEL into use on our ships we can easily destroy the Chinese missile before it can do any harm.

Imagine how much easier a time our forces will have the next time they come under fire in a similar situation with the XM-25 which is called the "Judge Dredd Gun". It fires precision aimed, precision timed, grenade rounds so that it hits the intended target with an explosion timed for maximum pain for the hostile. Or imagine how useful the XM-25 will be for our troops who have chased a couple of terrorist into a cave and can, thanks to the versatility of the XM-25, fire off rounds of tear gas into the cave, instead of lobbing grenades or flashbangs and shooting their way in, driving out the terrorist so that they can be captured, interrogated for actionable intelligence to help us locate other terrorist or prevent a terrorist attack.
