Don't cheer, applaud or support Ron Paul, he is a nut
During the Iowa debate Libertarian Ron Paul said to the effect that it was alright if Iran got a nuclear weapon.

It is an absolute embarrassment to anyone with a brain the response of approval Ron Paul gets for some of the things he says. Ron Paul is someone who would not have given the order for the Navy SEALs to take out Osama Bin Laden. Ron Paul thinks every US troop should be brought home right now(while that is a noble sentiment it is a dangerous thing to do given the threats this nation faces not the least of which is from the radical Islamic extremist). He has joined progressive Democrat congressman Barney Frank in trying to gut our national security and military including trying to shut down the missile defense shield. And of course Ron Paul has said he favors the legalization of hard drugs like heroin.

These are not the views and statements of a serious political candidate for President of the United States, they are the crack-pot ramblings of someone who has a disconnect with reality. Lets start with Iran getting a nuclear weapon. First of all in his response in the debate he said the CIA tells him Iran is not even trying to build a weapon. That is a false statement, I don't know what the CIA has told the congressman but this is what Global Security has to say about the Iranian nuclear program.(info is slightly dated)

When it comes to the raid that resulted in the death of Al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden anyone who would not have given the order to kill and or capture him, is someone who clearly does not take the war on terrorism seriously. Bin Laden has caused the murders of thousands of Americans and of peoples around the world, it is Bin Laden's terrorist cells and affiliates that attacked the World Trade Center in the the 90s, that attacked the USS Cole, the bombed our embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, that perpetrated the 9/11 attacks on top of dozens of other terrorist attacks around the globe over the course of two decades. Each and everyone of those terrorist attacks against us was an act of war and in a war you kill and capture your enemy, our enemy are radical islamic extremist groups namely Al Qaeda and the Taliban, to do anything less than kick their asses, is simply reprehensible. As the 9/11 commission report said they were at war with us, we were not at war with them, that is why 3,000 of our fellow countrymen are now dead, because we didn't take the aggression from those terrorist pukes seriously. One can disagree about how the war on terror has been executed but what one cannot do is outsource the job of getting the most wanted man in the world to the Pakistani's who have a way to friendly of a relationship with Al Qaeda and the Taliban, which is what Ron Paul would have done. Besides which Bin Laden had been living for 6 years feet away from a Pakistani military base what do you think would have been more likely the Pakistani's sending those troops to kill or capture him or the terrorist sympathizers within the Pakistan government tipping Bin Laden off and letting him escape?
9/11 commission report
When it comes to eliminating waste, fraud, abuse and finding cost savings within the Department of Defense and our national security apparatus I support that, but just taking a budget ax to weapon systems, new vehicles and other items that Paul and Frank outlined for the chopping block, that I cannot support. Take for instance the missile defense shield which would allow us the ability of shooting down inbound nuclear weapons, like the kind that Iran and North Korea have or will have. It would only take 33 minutes for a North Korean nuke to vaporize downtown Los Angles killing everyone in a several mile radius, we have to have the capacity to take that threat off the table, we are talking about protecting the lives of American citizens here something that is supposed to be of utmost importance to the President. Why in the hell would someone want to dismantle that capacity?
As for Ron Paul's stance on bringing all of our troops home right now the threats we face from around the globe make that sentiment an unrealistic and unobtainable pipe dream. The Somali pirates have killed US citizens and captured our commercial ships. China is building up its military with air craft carrier killer missiles, stealth fighters, submarines and the like. Al Qaeda and other terrorist continue to try an attack us, the Detroit panty bomber, the Times Square car bomb, the Oregon tree lighting plot and dozens and dozens of others, some of which we only averted by the skin of our teeth. Again Iran is building a nuke and has been providing aid and other support to terrorist. North Korea has its nukes. Then there is Hugo Chavez in Venezuela, Syria which had a nuclear weapons program that Israel took out, the world will have to live with the possible nightmare of lose Russian nukes for a long time and the ongoing drug cartel warfare in Mexico along our southern border. We have one threat after another, there are a lot of bad people around the world who want to harm Americans and if Ron Paul and his minions don't want to take those threats seriously, then no one should take him seriously.
To put is simply Ron Paul's foreign policy views are cut from the same cloth as those of George McGovern, ends the current war, bringing the troops home and making big cuts to defense spending all identical to what McGovern wanted back in 1972. It is never a good thing when one's foreign policy mirrors that of a left-wing radical liberal, it is also never a good sign when one joins forces with Barney Frank regardless of the issue.
Finally about legalizing drugs, honestly now what is it with Ron Paul and his acolytes that make them think this is even an issue, let alone one as important as they make it out to be. Drugs are bad, period. I went to high school with a guy by the name of Jim, Jim is dead because he over dosed on heroin, you Ron Paul druggies still want to say it is imperative to legalize that poison?
In Summary Ron Paul is just simply nuts and he should not be getting cheers, ovations and applause for the things he says and he most certainly should not be considered for the office of President of the United State of America. Thank God Michele Bachmann won the Iowa straw poll.

I have sent this article to alot of Ron Paul (Paulettes) supporters, they obviously dont like it just look at the voting area.
keep up the good work, keep exposing this guy, if we do as he wants we will have constant bombings here like Ireland had in 1974.
His supporters are probably also made up of Obama supporters and Code Pink wackos, we already know he has 9/11 truthers with him too.
