affirmative action for all failures

It is absolutely wrong for what is happening with test scores to become a police officer in Dayton, Ohio, please read this story.

I feel sorry for the folks in Dayton, who will now have to live with police protection from police officers who are to put it simply not to most qualified to do the job.  Lowering test scores so that failures, that is what getting 58 and 63 percent on a test makes you, can continue with the application process in order to fulfill "race quotes" does not help the people of Dayton or anywhere else.  All the lowering of the test scores will do in this case or in any other one like it is to dumb down the population, make merit less and less important, and lead to eventually everyone being apart of one aggrieved and oppressed, helpless, victimized minority group or another.

The folks at the Justice Department behind this effort and the folks in Dayton who went along with it, need to reread this rather famous quote from the late Dr. Martin Luther King jr.

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."
