Join me April 15th in Springfield, IL to protest the state tax hikes

The residents of the Sauk Valley have begun to feel the pain of the state income tax increase as each of us has had more of what we earn confiscated so Governor Quinn can spend it.  The business's of the region are also feeling the pinch of the state's increase in the corporate tax again so Governor Quinn can spend it.  Our states budget woes, $8 billion in unpaid bills and roughly $80 billion unfunded pension liability are not the result of to little in state revenue.  We have the fiscal problems we do here in Illinois because Governor Quinn, Speaker Madigan and Senate President Cullerton cannot help but continue to spend recklessly.  Just look at the Governors latest budget which increases spending nearly $2 billion over last years state budget.

It is time for the spending binge and higher taxes to come to an end.  I implore each one of you who has been negatively effected by the increased taxes to join me Friday, April 15 beginning at noon at the state capitol building in Springfield in protest of the tax hikes imposed on every resident and business in Illinois.

Join with your fellow concerned citizens from across the state as we send a loud and clear message to our states political leaders to repeal the tax hikes and to insist they STOP SPENDING! STOP SPENDING! STOP SPENDING!!!
