Tea Party condemns Violence in Tucson, Arizona
The Tea party condemns todays violence in Tucson, Arizona which resulted in the shooting of 19 people including Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. Reports are that 6 people were killed in this senseless act, among the dead are a Federal Judge and a 9 year old child.
Our sympathies and prayers go out to all those, and their families, affected by this despicable act. Violence of this nature is never appropriate under any circumstance, period. The person(s) responsible for this deplorable and senseless act of violence should face the maximum punishment in accordance with the law.
In the wake of todays tragic events, members of the media, have jumped to the conclusion that the Tea party, Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck are responsible for the actions of the alleged gunmen. However, it appears form the reported suspects youtube page and accounts from his classmates, this individual was far from a tea party activist.
